Lubomír Blaha has swapped a title fight for one of the relegation variety in transferring from FC Slovan Liberec to FC Zlín on loan.
Three goals
The 24-year-old forward, who began his career at 1. FC Synot, has left Liberec just six months after joining the Czech champions from AC Sparta Praha, the current 1. liga leaders. Blaha struggled to make an impression in Liberec colours, his three goals all coming in one game against SK Ceské Budejovice.
Replaces Janda
Blaha returned from a trial at Korean Republic club Hyundai Daegu to accept Zlín's offer of a contract until the end of the season. "I hope that my time sitting on the bench is finished," said Blaha, who will replace Tomás Janda at his new club after the striker moved to Slovakian side 1. FC Košice on loan.
