Should replace Scarchilli
An Italian Under-21 international, he will now join Torino's fight to avoid relegation and could be in line for an immediate debut against Bologna FC on Sunday as a replacement for the injured Alessio Scarchilli.
Started with Atalanta
The AC Milan player was previously on loan at AC Parma but played only seven matches for Cesare Prandelli's team this season, scoring one goal. Donati, who is 22, first appeared in Serie A with Atalanta BC in 2000 before moving on to Milan the following year.
Relegation threat
Torino currently lie second from bottom of Serie A with just ten points from 17 games. They secured Donati's services despite interest from several of their fellow strugglers.
