Article body
Odense BK have completed the signing of goalkeeper Martin S Jensen on a two-year contract from Danish rivals Esbjerg fB.
'Really pleased'
OB's reserve custodian between 1996 and 1998, the 29-year-old said he was delighted to be back at the club. "I'm really pleased and satisfied with the deal. To be able to come back to OB is a big wish that's been fulfilled, and I'm looking forward to my first day."
Problem solved
Coach Uffe Pedersen said he had been keen to increase his goalkeeping options: "For a while I've wanted two full-time professional goalkeepers in the team. We've often had to train with just one keeper and now we've solved that problem.
'Important step'
Pedersen continued: "The addition of Martin S Jensen is an important step in the right direction, regarding our efforts to strengthen the squad." The Danish season resumes on 9 March with OB occupying eighth position, though the team are just six points adrift of third-placed Farum.
