Atalanta BC have signed Croatian international Davor Vugrinec from Serie B club US Lecce.
Three-year contract
The 28-year-old forward who joined Lecce in 2000 from Turkish side Trabzonspor has signed a three-year contract with the Bergamo club. Vugrinec scored 19 goals in the 62 matches he played in Serie A for Lecce during the last two seasons.

With Brazilian forward Inacio Piá out for a month due to a thigh injury, Vugrinec is expected to link up with Fausto Rossini in attack for Sunday's match against Juventus FC. He is the fourth player to join Atalanta during the winter transfer window after defenders Paolo Tramezzani, Sebastiano Siviglia and Natale Gonnella. The Nerazzurri are currently just above the relegation zone in with 17 points.
