The visitors scored the only goal on 33 minutes, when left-sided midfield player Ollie Cahill converted to give Pat Fenlon's side a crucial victory with only four league games remaining.

Relegation zone
University College Dublin FC climbed out of the relegation zone on Monday night with a 2-0 success against fellow strugglers Longford Town FC at Flancare Park.

Martin marvels
John Martin opened the scoring for Paul Doolin's men after 34 minutes, and Robbie Martin added a second 20 minutes from time to lift the Dubliners up to seventh position in the table.
