Ferencvárosi TC have finished strengthening for the resumption of the Hungarian season by signing Dunaferr SE defenders János Zováth and György Kiss on two-and-a-half year contracts.

'Play my best'
Both players bring experience to the Ferencváros squad. The 26-year-old Zováth has played 16 times this season, taking his NB I tally to 196. Zováth, who will wear the No51 shirt, said of the move: "I know that I must play my best to make the starting eleven. I don't want to make any promises, but I hope to perform well."

Hungarian champion
Ferencváros general manager József Szeiler also unveiled Kiss, 28, during Tuesday's press conference. A Hungarian champion with Dunaferr in 2000, Kiss, who has scored 12 goals in 143 top-flight matches, is eager for more success, saying: "I want to taste victory again - I want to win the NB I with Ferencváros."

Well-worn path
Zováth and Kiss are treading what is, in recent times, a well-worn path between Dunaujvaros and Budapest - strikers Attila Tököli, Marek Penksa and Thomas Sowunmi have all moved to the Ülloi úti stadium from Dunaferr.

Goal difference
When the Hungarian season resumes on 8 March, Ferencváros will be looking to stave off the challenge of MTK Hungária FC. The clubs are separated by goal difference after 17 matches.
