Polonia exodus goes on

Members

Striker Maciej Bykowski has become the latest player to leave Polish club KP Polonia Warszawa.

Seven down
Bykowski has moved to Gabarnia for no fee after Polonia decided to cut their losses on a player they owed money to. He has signed a one-year contract and becomes the seventh departure from the Warsaw club in recent weeks. Mateusz Bartczak, Piotr Dziewicki, Arkadiusz Bak, Pawel Kaczorowski, Maciej Scherfchen and Arkadiusz Kaliszan all left Polonia, the 2000 Polish champions, in similar circumstances.

New faces
"We had a long talk and finally reached an agreement," Garbarnia director Jerzy Frenkiel said. "Hopefully he won't be the last player joining us in the next few days." The Jaworzno club have also captured goalkeeper Andrzej Bledzewski on a one-year deal from KS Górnik Zabrze.
