Article body
Torino Calcio have sacked coach Renzo Ulivieri in the aftermath of the side's poor performance against AC Milan on Saturday and installed Renato Zaccarelli and Giacomo Ferri as the club's new coaching team.
Bad spell
The match between Torino and Milan was abandoned after 64 minutes due to crowd trouble when the Rossoneri were leading 3-0. Ulivieri replaced Giancarlo Camolese last October but the 62-year-old has earned just ten points in his 16-match spell at the Delle Alpi Stadium. The team have not won a match since the 2-1 victory against his former club Bologna FC at the beginning of November.
Former Torino players
The 52-year-old Zaccarelli is a former Torino player and Italian international. He has already acted as caretaker coach once this season, for Torino's 2-1 defeat against Reggina Calcio immediately after Camolese's dismissal. Zaccarelli will be assisted by Ferri, another former Torino player, who has been promoted from his post with the club's youth side. Torino are currently second from bottom in Serie A with 13 points from 21 matches.
