Russian Premier-Liga new boys FC Chernomorets Krasnodarskiy Kray have announced the signing of five Brazilian players.
Brazilian imports
Robson López will join from Clube Atlético Paranaense, Fabio Augusto Castro comes from Figueirense FC, Fabio Costa from Madureira EC, Alemão from São Paulo FC and Ricardo Bovio from CR Vasco da Gama.
Private investment
Ricardo Bovio, a 21-year-old midfielder, has signed a four-year contract, while the rest each inked a three-year deal with the newly-promoted club. Chernomorets have been experiencing financial difficulties recently, but, according to chairman of the board Georgi Antonyan, 60 per cent of the transfer fees for the Bratzilians have been paid by private investors.
Famous clubs
"There will be two more signings of Brazilians, who are stronger and more prominent," said Antonyan. 30-year-old Midfielder Fabio Augusta Castro is perhaps the most famous of the quintet, having played for CR Flamengo, Atlético Mineiro, Corinthians Paulista, EC Vitória and Santos FC.
