Trio fail second tests

Members

A trio of Greek First Division players have failed a second round of drug tests.

Appeal process
Albanian international midfield player Bledar Kola of Kallithea GS, Greek defender Panayiotis Kordonouris of Xanthi FC and French striker Karim Mouzaoui of Panionios GS now have ten days to appeal against the findings. Should they be found guilty by an EPAE disciplinary panel they face a ban of up to two years.

Second samples
All three players gave second samples after routine drugs tests last month showed traces of banned substances. Kallithea sacked former Panathinaikos FC winger Kola last Thursday. Panionios suspended Mouzaoui's contract for four months after the first test on 23 January, while Kordonouris's future at Xanthi remains a question mark.
