Article body
IF Elfsborg have brought striker Fredrik Berglund back to the club on loan until August from Dutch side Roda JC.
Bench role
Berglund joined Roda on a five-year contract in August 2001, having scored 18 goals in 23 games for Elfsborg in the 2000 Allsvenskan season. However, he has found goals harder to come by in Holland and has spent most of this season on the bench. Berglund, who will return to Elfsborg immediately, said: "I feel really motivated about playing for Elfsborg again."
Adréasson delighted
Elfsborg's director of sport, Stefan Adréasson, said: "It is great that we've finally managed to reach an agreement with Roda's board of directors. We have been alone in trying to sign Fredrik so that makes it all the more positive."
