Second-half capitulation
Vitória were two goals up against the Portuguese First Division giants but capitulated after half-time to crash to a 6-2 loss.
'Heaven and hell'
Campos was told of his fate this morning after a board meeting and later said: "This is the life of a coach - you are as near to heaven as you are to hell and we saw it yesterday. We we were near heaven beating Benfica 2-0 before the break and we ended up in hell."
Miranda in frame
Campos joined the club midway through last season and helped steer them clear of relegation but the club are now languishing in the drop zone once again. Diamantino Miranda, who began his coaching career with the club in 1994, is rumoured to be in line to succeed Campos.
