Partizani opened the scoring in the game of the weekend through Rrahman Hallaci's 17th-minute effort. Eldorado Merkoci made it two in the 44th minute but third-placed Vllaznia were not finished.
Points safe
Albert Kaci restored the away side's hopes with a goal almost immediately. However, Gezim Ndreka made the points safe on Friday with Partizani's third in the 64th minute. The win took Partizani temporarily within seven points of Tirana, who did not play until Sunday. However, the leaders regained their ten-point advantage when a 3-2 victory at KS Dinamo Tirana.
Mancaku double
The rest of the weekend action took place on Saturday. The biggest win of the day went to KS Teuta, who romped home 4-0 against KS Bylis thanks in part ot Bledar Mancaku's second-half double. The matches between KF Erzeni and KS Elbasani and FKF Lushnja and KS Besa both finished as 1-1 draws.
Home sides happy
Finally, there were home wins for KS Shkumbini and KS Flamurtari against KS Beselidhja and KS Apolonia respectively. Shkumbini were 2-1 victors while Flamurtari needed a last-minute goal from Daniel Xhafa to triumph 1-0.
