Albania round-up: Tirana suffer home defeat

SK Tirana's title ambitions suffered a slight dent with a 2-1 home defeat by KS Flamurtari.

The capital club are seven points clear at the top and the reverse against sixth-placed Flamurtari was only their second defeat in 17 matches.

Partizani close gap
Second-placed KF Partizani, Tirana's city rivals, took advantage of the result and cut their lead at the top after Paulin Dhembi's sixth-minute goal gave them a 1-0 win at KS Bylis.

Victory for Shkumbini
KS Shkumbini are up to third place after a 2-1 victory at KF Lushnja, while KS Vllaznia were held to a 1-1 draw by KS Dinamo Tirana. Dritan Babamusta scored in the 17th minute as KS Teuta beat basement club KS Besëlidhja 1-0 and KS Elbasani defeated KS Besa 2-1, while KF Erzeni were beaten by the same scoreline by KS Apolonia.
