NK Dinamo Zagreb maintained their four-point lead in the Croatian First League with a 1-0 victory at HNK Rijeka - on a weekend that otherwise saw a clean sweep of home wins.
Late winner
The home side, in relegation trouble three places off the bottom of the table, seemed to be heading towards a valuable point after holding their visitors for much of the game. But Edin Mujcin broke the deadlock 12 minutes from the end to keep Dinamo clear of HNK Hajduk Split.
Impressive form
Hajduk themselves kept up the pressure on the leaders with a 4-0 victory against NK Zardarkomerc. Almir Turkovic and Petar Krpan made it 2-0 at the break, and each player added another to keep up their team's impressive spring form.
Karic seals triumph
Third-placed NK Varteks are still in touch with the top two thanks to a 2-0 win against NK Slaven Belupo. Frane Petricevic put the home side into the lead in the 19th minute and substitute Veldin Karic sealed the victory four minutes from time.
Šibenik move up
HNK Šibenik moved off the bottom of the table as they defeated HNK Cibalia 2-1. Cibalia went ahead on 20 minutes through Ivan Lajtman, but Paul Mataš equalised with a quarter-hour left and Stjepan Jukic added a the winner as the game entered injury time.
Zagreb recover
NK Pomorac fell below Šibenik as NK Zagreb claimed their first win since November. Vedran Jese put Zagreb ahead on eleven minutes, and although Antun Dunkovic soon equalised, Kruno Lovrek gave Zagreb a 2-1 victory with his 26th-minute clincher.
Osijek victory
Elswhere, NK Osijek defeated NK Kamen Ingrad Velika 1-0 with Goran Ljubojevic scoring in the 62nd minute.
