SK Sigma Olomouc eased their relegation worries with a 2-1 home victory against 1. FC Synot in a 1. liga game which had twice been postponed due to a frozen pitch.
Impressive recovery
The home team were forced to come from behind in a frenetic 90 minutes which saw a number of chances at both ends. Synot, whose nine-game unbeaten run was ended by AC Sparta Praha on Saturday, opened the scoring shortly after half-time through Michal Meduna.
Instant equaliser
However, Vitezslav Tuma scored his first goal for ten months a minute later before Stanislav Vlcek found the winning goal in the closing stages, when his cross surprised goalkeeper Petr Drobisz and drifted into the net.
Unbeaten in four
Sigma, unbeaten in four games, moved up to 13th place, six points clear of the relegation zone, with maximum points today.
