Farum finally got their Danish Superliga season going with a 3-1 away win against Viborg FF tonight.
Frozen pitches
The Copenhagen side had their first two matches after the domestic restart cancelled due to frozen pitches but this win sees them move up to fourth in the table.
Nonbo stunner
However, it was the Jutland hosts who had the better of the action and deservedly went into the break with a 1-0 lead at the back thanks to a brilliant free-kick from Michael Nonbo.
Farum comeback
However, the visitors came back strongly after the break and equalised through David Rasmussen on the hour. Only three minutes later Thomas Schulz threw the visitors into the lead and Dennis Sørensen rounded off a memorable Farum performance with a third goal with 73 minutes on the clock.
Unexpected win
"I hadn't expected this," said Farum coach Christian Andersen. "We were too eager before the break but we regained our composure after the interval where we had things under control."
