Injury problems
Pedersen, 24, sustained the injury when he collided with Danish international Thomas Røll in AGF's match against FC København on Sunday. The full-back and midfield player suffered similar injuries in his left knee in 2000 and 2001, but managed to recover and by autumn 2002 was appearing regularly for AGF, whom he had joined the previous year from Vorup FB.
'Very frustrating'
"This is the worst thing that could happen to me," said Pedersen. "I had finally established myself in the side. It is very frustrating to be sidelined right now when we are about to create something big at AGF."
Veteran to step in
The club, who are in ninth place in the Danish Super League, are expected to replace Pedersen with veteran Henrik Risom for the remainder of the season.
