NK Korotan look set to be relegated from the Slovenian First League after their players refused to face NK Olimpija Ljubljana, giving the title contenders a 3-0 win.

Squad strike
Bottom-placed Korotan were also unable to play last week, their squad on strike after remaining unpaid for five months. A spokesman for the union of top-flight clubs said that the club are likely to have their points expunged and be demoted.

Leaders win
Olimpija remain second, level on points with NK Publikum, after the leaders beat NK Šmartno 2-1. Marko Krišnik and Simon Sešlar put Publikum 2-0 up by the 34-minute mark, ensuring Ramiz Smajlovic's goal on 57 minutes was only a consolation.

Koper lose ground
NK Koper lost ground on the leaders as they were held 1-1 by NK Primorje, while NK Dravograd moved away from the bottom reaches of the table with a 4-1 win against NK Ljubljana. NK Gorica gained an impressive 3-2 win against NK Maribor, while NK Mura beat NK Rudar Velenje 1-0.
