James Beattie and Mateja Kezman were the main movers in this week's ESM Golden Shoe standings.
Trio draw blanks
With Christian Vieri, Thierry Henry and Roy Makaay all failing to score at the weekend, Southampton FC forward Beattie moved into joint-second place with one of the goals in his side's 2-2 draw against Aston Villa FC.
Kezman double
Meanwhile, Kezman scored both of PSV Eindhoven's goals in their impressive 2-0 defeat of UEFA Champions League quarter-finalists AFC Ajax. The double strike moved the Serbia and Montenegro striker up three places in the standings to fifth.
Nonda on target
Shabani Nonda of AS Monaco FC and Ailton of SV Werder Bremen were among the other Golden Shoe principals to register goals at the weekend, while a hat-trick for Manchester United FC forward Ruud van Nistelrooij against Fulham FC moved the Dutchman up 17 places to 15th.

Only the leading five countries (Spain, Italy, Germany, France and England) on the UEFA Ranking have 2 as their multiplier. This is to emphasise the difference in (international) performance level between the clubs from those countries and those from the other countries.
A player cannot first play in a summer league (e.g. Norway) and then in a winter league (e.g. Spain) and combine the points total for each season.
