FK Austria Wien moved a step closer to the Austrian Bundesliga title after a late winner sealed a 2-1 victory at Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz.
Comfortable lead
With second-placed SV Pasching slipping to a 1-0 defeat at home to SV Austria Salzburg, Austria now hold a 13-point lead at the top of the table as they close in on their first championship since 1993.
Late winner
Bregenz went ahead in the 24th minute when Mathias Berchtold opened the scoring, but Austria drew level eight minutes later through Vladimir Janocko. The decisive moment arrived a minute into added time at the end of the game, as Thorstein Helstad provided a composed finish to seal three valuable points for his side.
Pasching under pressure
A 43rd-minute Roland Kirchler goal proved enough for Salzburg at Pasching, who now lie just four points ahead clear of Grazer AK, 3-0 winners at home to FC Kärnten thanks to two goals from René Aufhauser and one from Anton Ehmann, and SK Sturm Graz, who slipped to a 1-0 defeat at SK Rapid Wien with Steffen Hofmann scoring the decisive goal after just two minutes.
Another defeat for Admira
Elsewhere, VfB Admira Wacker Mödling remained bottom after suffering a 1-0 defeat at home to SV Austria Salzburg, for whom Roland Kirchler scored the only goal of the game two minutes before half-time.
