Norway round-up: Rosenborg eat up Brann

Rosenborg BK maintained their perfect record in the Tippeliga with a crushing 6-1 victory at Brann SK.

Brattbakk double
The Bergen side had the better of the opening exchanges but it was the visitors who took the lead after 18 minutes when Harald Brattbakk converted a penalty after Martin Knudsen had brought down Frode Johnsen. Brattbakk then turned provider for Johnsen to double the scoreline before he touched in a cross from Azer Karadas to make it 3-0 inside the first 30 minutes.

Winsnes completes scoring
Karadas put the match effectively out of Brann's reach with a fourth goal just before the break and added his second after the interval, before a terrific free-kick from Alex Valencia brought the home supporters back to life, albeit briefly. Rosenborg's superb performance was capped in the dying minutes when Fredrik Winsnes struck with a fierce volley from Christer George's pinpoint pass.

Hareide reaction
Rosenborg coach Aage Hareide refused to get carried away by the display and said: "The result looks good but we had plenty of problems at the back and there's plenty of work to be done in the weeks to come."
