Struggling Serbo-Montenegrin side FK Radnički Obrenovac have appointed Velibor Djurić as their new coach.

Velibor Djurić has been named the new coach of FK Radnički Obrenovac as the club look to stave off relegation.

Former assistant
Djurić was assistant to Cvijetin Blagojević, the former coach who was released from his duties last week with Obrenovac just one place above the relegation zone.

Young coach
Djurić, 32, becomes the youngest coach in Serbia and Montenegro's Prva savezna liga. A former player with FK Mogren and Obrenovac, he retired from playing two years ago after sustaining a serious knee injury.

'Very happy'
"I am very happy to have been given this opportunity," he said. "A young coach does not choose a situation. Youth, enthusiasm and motivation are my advantages and I hope I will show a proper level of knowledge to help Obrenovac stay in the top flight."
