RBC Roosendaal have signed defender Melvin Fleur from Belgian club RSC Anderlecht on a three-year contract.

Loan spell
The 21-year-old Dutch right-back has already played for his new club on loan this season. Fleur, a former AFC Ajax youth player, will join the Eredivisie team on a permanent contract from the summer.

Successful talks
"Anderlecht told us we should first reach an agreement with Melvin himself," said RBC general manager Paul van der Kraan said. "We succeeded in that, and afterwards we also reached an agreement with Anderlecht."

Friendly matches
The transfer fee has not been announced, but part of the agreement is that both teams will play a friendly in Roosendaal over the next three years. "The receipts of those matches will go to Anderlecht", Van der Kraan added.
