Missing spirit
The 45-year-old trainer signed a contract at a press conference today and told the assembled media: "I have joined an ambitious club who have a vision for the future. I will try to restore the spirit that has been missing from the club."
Elazigspor experience
Denizlispor president Mustafa Baysal said that Bulak was the "best coach for our club" and had "a lot to offer". The coach started the season at newly promoted Elazigspor but resigned in September after a series of poor results.
Cup defeat
Bulak's new charges are 12th in the 18-team Super League but have taken just one point from six matches following their defeat by FC Porto in the UEFA Cup fourth round - a run that cost Çalimbay his job. His first game in charge will be Saturday's league encounter at Istanbulspor AS.
