Members

Benny Lennartsson enjoyed the perfect start as coach of Viborg FF as they won 5-1 at Esbjerg fB.

Benny Lennartsson made a winning start at Viborg FF as his new charges moved out of the relegation zone by defeating Esbjerg fB 5-1 away from home on Sunday.

First win of the year
The Swede had only replaced the sacked Søren Kusk 48 hours earlier and could not have wished for a better start. It was Viborg's first win since the season resumed after the winter break and came courtesy of four goals from striker Søren Frederiksen.

AGF beaten
Viborg now have 26 points from 24 games, the same as AGF Århus and Køge Boldklub who both have an inferior goal difference. AGF lost 2-1 at home to Akademisk Boldklub, Mohammed Zidan and Peter Benjaminsen scoring for the visitors before Tom Christensen struck a late consolation goal.

Køge rooted to bottom
In another match between two clubs threatened by relegation, Silkeborg IF earned themselves three valuable points when they defeated Køge BK 3-1. The win lifted Silkeborg from eleventh to ninth while Køge are now rooted to the bottom of the Superliga.

FCK lose again
At the top of the table FC København suffered a second consecutive defeat, 1-0 against Aalborg BK. Andres Oper scored the only goal in added time after FCK's Peter Christiansen and Sibusiso Zuma had both been sent off. Despite the loss, FCK remain top with 43 points from 24 matches.

All square
Their nearest pursuers, Farum and champions Brøndby IF, shared the points in a 1-1 draw on Saturday. Brøndby took the lead after 35 minutes from a Kaspar Dalgas free-kick but third-placed Farum replied 13 minutes from time through David Rasmussen. Brøndby are now two points adrift of FCK, while Farum are a further three points behind with a game in hand.

Odense fightback
Elsewhere, Odense BK fought back from two goals behind to draw 2-2 with FC Midtjylland. Bo Hansen struck twice in the opening four minutes for Midtjylland but Odense Boldklub replied through Thomas Lindrup and captain Michael Hemmingsen.
