Article body
Superligaen leaders FC København have had their advantage at the top of the table reduced to three points after suffering a 3-0 defeat away to second-bottom Silkeborg IF.
København dominance
The away side dominated for much of the game, but strikers Sibusiso Zuma and Peter Møller were unable to find a way past Silkeborg goalkeeper Henrik Ipsen, who produced a number of fine saves.
Silkeborg strikes
Silkeborg were more clinical in front of goal, and took the lead after 30 minutes through Anders Veller. Christopher Poulsen doubled the advantage seven minutes into the second period, and Bo Nielsen sealed the win a minute before the hour. København have managed just one win since the league resumed on 15 March after its winter break.
Brøndby closing in
Second-placed Brøndby IF closed the gap at the top with a 2-1 win at home to Køge BK. Goals from Kaspar Dalgas and Martin Retov put Brøndby in control and, although the away side pulled a goal back through Morten Nielsen, Brøndby held on for an important win.
Farum frustrated
Third-placed Farum were held to a 2-2 draw at Odense BK. Farum twice took the lead in the match, through Thomas Schultz and Olcay Senuglo, but equalisers from Esben Hansen and Thomas Lindrup gave OB a point. The draw moved Farum to within six points of the leaders, with a game in hand.
AaB win
Meanwhile, Aalborg BK secured their first win since the league resumed with a 2-0 success at home to AGF Århus. Midfield player Michael Silberbauer gave the home side the lead, before Andres Oper scored a decisive second with virtually the last kick of the match.
Resounding victory
Esbjerg fB were 4-1 winners away to Akademisk Boldklub, with Jan Kristiansen scoring twice. Kristiansen took his total tally for the season to 13 goals, before Martin Heinze and Tommy Bechmann both scored in the final stages, while AB's only response was a Sammy Youssouf goal.
Goalless draw
Finally, Viborg FF remained bottom of the table after being held to a 0-0 draw at home by FC Midtjylland.
