NK Publikum moved a point clear at the top of the Slovenian First League despite being held 2-2 by lowly NK Rudar Velenje as NK Olimpija Ljubljana lost to another struggling side, NK Mura.
Mujanovič double
Publikum fell behind early against Rudar when Alen Mujanovič scored after just 13 minutes, but surged into the lead on the back of goals from Simon Seslar and Dragan Čadikovski in the space of three minutes midway through the first half. However, Mujanovič registered an equaliser in the 68th minute to give Rudar a vital point in their efforts to climb away from the relegation zone.
Mura victory
Olimpija missed the chance to overtake Publikum as they went down 1-0 to Mura. Viktor Trenevski scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot in the 28th minute to move Mura three points clear of Rudar.
Much-needed win
NK Gorica remained a point ahead of Rudar as they overcame NK Ljubljana 2-0 thanks to goals from Jaka Šabec and Mladen Kovačević. Elsewhere, fourth-placed NK Šmartno won 3-0 against NK Dravograd, while NK Primorje gained a 2-0 victory at home to NK Koper.
