NK Olimpija retained a one-point advantage at the top of the Slovenian First League on Saturday.

NK Olimpija Ljubljana retained a one-point advantage at the top of the Slovenian First League on Saturday despite being held to a 1-1 draw by NK Rudar Velenje.

No change
The fact that second-placed NK Publikum were held to a scoreless draw by NK Gorica meant there was no change at the top of the table.

Off guard
Olimpija were caught off guard when Elvir Mujanovic gave Rudar the lead in the 25th minute but the home side remained patient and secured a deserved equaliser in the 59th minute through Anton Zlogar.

Mostarlic double
Third-placed NK Maribor ran out 4-2 winners against NK Mura in a match in which striker Igor Mostarlic scored twice, but are still six points behind Publikum. Mostarlic put the home side in front in the 30th minute and Amir Karic doubled the advantage in the 50th. Elvir Rakovic made it 3-0 soon after.

Late goals
Mostarlic was on hand to collect his second in the 72nd minute and two late goals from Mura came too late to turn the match around. Elsewhere, NK Primorje defeated NK Šmartno 2-1 away while NK Dravograd and NK Ljubljana drew 2-2.
