Kotayk substitute striker Vaha Tadevosyan scored the winning goal five minutes from time and gave his team three important points. MIKA dropped to third following the defeat.
Two for Mamulyan
FC Lernagorts continued their good start to the season with a 3-1 home victory against FC Dinamo-2000 Yerevan, who took an early lead through captain Tigran Gspeyan after 14 minutes. Lernagorts dominated the second half, as Hakob Mamulyan scored twice either side of an Alen Movsisyan goal.
Decisive free-kick
FC Shirak took an important 1-0 win away to FC Banants, with Ararat Harutyunyan scoring the only goal of the game in the tenth minute with a free-kick.
Amazing win
Reigning champions FC Pyunik secured an impressive 11-0 victory at home to FC Araks. Levon Pachajyan scored a hat-trick and Issa Traore scored twice, with the other goals coming from Eduard Partsikyan, Agvan Mkrtchyan, Mamadou Diawara, Karl Lombe, Tigran Davtyan and Edgar Manucharyan. Araks have now conceded 18 goals in their three league games so far.
