FC Dinamo Tbilisi are on the verge of the Georgian Cup final after a 4-0 victory against FC Lokomotivi Tbilisi.

FC Dinamo Tbilisi virtually guaranteed their place in the Georgian Cup final with a comfortable 4-0 away victory against FC Lokomotivi Tbilisi in the semi-final first leg.

Three for Alexidze
Rati Alexidze did most of the damage for Dinamo, scoring a hat-trick. Alexidze opened the scoring seven minutes before half-time, but it took until late in the game for Dinamo to extend their advantage.

Late goals
Alexidze made it 2-0 after 73 minutes, and completed his hat-trick nine minutes from time. Vladimer Akhalaia added a fourth goal in the final minute.

Narrow advantage
In the other semi-final, FC Sioni Bolnisi will take a narrow advantage to FC Torpedo Kutaisi for the second leg, having earned a 1-0 victory in the home match. The match seemed to be heading for a goalless draw, but Davit Datvadze scored with five minutes remaining to give the underdogs the narrowest of leads.

Second legs
The second legs will take place on 7 May.
