Kmetec on target
Two goals Mrako Kmetec ensured victory as Olimpija were forced to come from a goal down after Mladen Kovačić opened the scoring on 52 minutes. Kmetec equalised a minute later and added a second on 60 minutes to bring his goal-tally for the season to 20.
Publikum off top spot
Olimpija’s city neighbours NK Ljubljana helped knock NK Publikum off top spot with an impressive 4-1 victory. In another surprise result, bottom side NK Mura overcame fourth-placed NK Koper 2-0, thanks to goals from Marjan Dominko, on 18 minutes, and Viktor Trenevski in the 48th minute.
Maribor remain third
NK Maribor remain third after a 2-1 win against NK Ruda while NK Primorje recorded a 1-0 victory against NK Dravograd.
