No goals
Pyunik, who are on track to match last season's double, were held to a 0-0 draw in their quarter-final second leg against FC Kotayk but made it through courtesy of Malian player's Issa Traore's penalty in the first leg. A goalless draw also ensured Shirak's progression by the same 1-0 aggregate scoreline against FC Kilikia, who will rue a missed penalty in the second leg by captain Karen Zakaryan.
Decisive victory
MIKA were decisive in reaching the semi-finals, beating first division FC Spartak Yerevan in both legs. The victory was completed by a 2-0 triumph with goals from Aram Voskanyan and Edik Manucharyan. Finally, Banantas were beaten 3-2 in their second leg against FC Dinamo-2000 but went through by virtue of their 4-0 first-leg triumph. Banants, who won on the night through captain Tigran Gspeyan's 83rd-minute penalty, will have to try again next season.
