NK Velež have made Emir Tufek their fifth coach this season as they look to avoid relegation from the Bosnia-Herzegovnian Premier League.
Tufek promoted
Tufek has been promoted from an assistant coach's role following the departure of coach Husnija Arapović and his assistant, Avdo Kalajdžić, ahead of the 4-0 defeat by FK Sloboda at the weekend.
'Very difficult situation'
Tufek, a former Velež player, said: "We are in a very difficult situation, but we have not lost hope of avoiding relegation." Velež are one of the oldest and most successful clubs in Bosnia yet now face the threat of relegation as they sit 18th in the 20-team table, seven points from safety. Six clubs will go down this season due to the reorganisation of the league.
