Modena FC coach Giovanni De Biasi has parted company with the club after helping them avoid relegation in their first campaign back in Serie A.

Two promotions
De Biasi arrived at the Alberto Braglia stadium in November 1999 with the team struggling in Serie C1 and, after helping his side to avoid relegation that season, he led the team to two consecutive promotions in the following campaigns.

'Time to change'
"I took this decision despite knowing that I had a wonderful and successful period with this club," said De Biasi. "But after three-and a half years I just thought it was time to change team."

No replacement yet
According to reports in Italy, the 46-year-old De Biasi could replace Carlo Mazzone as Brescia Calcio coach, while Modena are considering several options for next season, among them former Torino Calcio coach Giancarlo Camolese.
