Surprise lead
The defending champions had to come from behind after Frode Kippe shot Lillestrøm into a surprise lead moments before half-time. But despite rescuing a point thanks to Frode Johnsen's 63rd-minute goal, Rosenborg coach Åge Hareide was disappointed with the draw. "We ought to win our home games," Hareide said.
Talking trophies
Meanwhile, Viking FK beat Sogndal IL 2-1 to move into second place above the Fosshaugane club. After a goalless first half, the visitors struck first through Alexander Ødegaard, but Viking hit back with goals from Trygve Nygård and Erik Nevland to secure the win. "We know we are a good side and now we can talk about silverware," Viking coach Kjell Inge Olsen said.
Impressive winners
Viking are level on points with FK Bodø/Glimt, who defeated SK Brann 2-0 in Bergen with goals either side of the interval from Asmund Bjørkan and Cato Hanssen. Bryne FK also impressed, winning 4-0 at home against SKF Lyn. Kim Rune Hellesund set Bryne on their way before further goals from Markus Andreassonk, Trond Bjørnsen and Mark Lemsalu.
All square
Elsewhere, newly promoted Aalesund FK stayed bottom of the Tippeliga after losing a two-goal lead against Odds BK. Joakim Austnes and Morten Moldskred both registered for the home side in the first half, but Odd recovered the deficit after the break with two goals from Morten Fevan.
Strugglers lose
Tromsø IL are just a point better off than Aalesund after their 3-1 home defeat by Stabæk IF. Despite going ahead through Thomas Hafstad, Tromsø were well beaten as Martin Andresen and Christian Wilhemsson (2) both struck. In the televised game, Freddy dos Santos and Pa Ma-dou Kah scored to give Vålerenga Fotball a 2-0 home victory over Molde FK.
