Belarussian Premier League leaders FC Torpedo Zhodino dropped their first points of the season when they were held 1-1 by reigning champions FC BATE in Borisov on Monday.
Trukhov heroics
The leaders had to come from behind after Igor Chumachenko put BATE into a 57th-minute lead with a 25-metre free-kick but after Dmitri Komarovski had missed a golden opportunity to put the game out of Torpedo's reach, Igor Trukhov grabbed a share of the spoils on 81 minutes.
Dinamo whirring
The highest scorers of the day were FC Dinamo Minsk, who rattled seven past FC Slavia Mozyr without reply. Strikers Maksim Tsygalko and Sergei Kornilenko both scored twice and further strikes from Petar Zlatinov and Yuri Vodovozov, plus Serghei Kondrya's own goal, completed the rout.
Sulimenko on target
FC Gomel and FC Shakhtior Soligorsk also recorded away victories. Gomel beat FC Belshina Bobruisk 2-0 thanks to goals from Yuri Sulimenko and Gennadi Bliznyuk, while Shakhtior came from behind to beat FC Darida Zhdanovichi 3-2.
Torpedo on top
Elsewhere, FC Torpedo-SKA Minsk beat FC Neman Grodno 2-1, FC Dinamo Brest overcame FC Naftan Novopolotsk 4-2, FC Molodechno-2000 drew 1-1 with FC Zvezda-VA-BGU Minsk and the game between FC Dnepr-Transmash and FC Lokomotiv Minsk ended in a 0-0 stalemate.
Postponed fixture
Later in the week a postponed game from the first week of fixtures finished 3-2 in BATE's favour against FC Moldocheno 2000.
Finalists decided
The second legs of the Belarussian Cup semi-finals took place on Friday and Dinamo will face Lokomotiv in the competition's showpiece. Dinamo, who had drawn 0-0 with Gomel in the first leg, won the return 2-0 thanks to a double from Igor Rozhkov. Lokomotiv won the first leg 3-0, meaning they could afford a 3-1 loss to advance 4-3 on aggregate.
