Grazer AK remain on course for the UEFA Champions League after a dramatic 2-1 win at SK Sturm Graz.

Grazer AK remain on course for the second UEFA Champions League qualifying place after a dramatic 2-1 victory at city rivals SK Sturm Graz.

Late winner
GAK began the day in second spot behind confirmed Austrian Bundesliga champions FK Austria Wien, but only a point ahead of fifth-placed Sturm in a close race for European places. Nikola Milinkovic put Sturm ahead on four minutes but visitors GAK drew level through David Muriji just nine minutes from the end and Skelley Adu Tutu struck as the game entered added time to keep his team a point ahead of SV Austria Salzburg.

Champions beaten
Salzburg themselves are up to third, enough for a UEFA Cup place, as they stretched their unbeaten run to 12 games with a 1-0 victory against Austria. Alexander Schriebel's goal four minutes before half-time clinched the win.

Pasching held
SV Pasching slipped to fourth, a point behind Salzburg but two ahead of Sturm, after being held 1-1 by Kärnten. Pasching went ahead on 15 minutes through Edi Glieder's penalty, but the visitors put in a fine performance and Stanko Bubalo levelled matters two minutes from the end.

Rapid in touch
Sixth-placed SK Rapid Wien are not out of the European race following only their third win since the winter break, 3-2 against SV Ried. Jürgen Kauz put visitors Ried ahead in the opening seconds, but goals from Rapid trio René Wagner - set to leave the club in the summer - Roman Wallner and Andreas Ivanschitz ensured Oliver Glasner's added-time strike was only a consolation.

Admira claim relegation encounter
Meanwhile, at the bottom end of the table, VfB Admira Wacker Mödling moved off the foot of the table with a 1-0 win at Schwarz-Weiss Bregenz. Tomasz Iwan's 76th minute goal took Admira three points clear of Bregenz in the relegation place with three matches remaining.
