Impressive World Cup
The 23-year-old midfield player, who is still registered with former club Gamba Osaka, joined Fulham last summer after some impressive performances during the FIFA World Cup. He had previously been on loan at Arsenal FC.
Bright start
After a bright start, including a hat-trick against Bologna FC in the UEFA Intertoto Cup final, Inamoto has since struggled with an ankle injury and failed to secure a first-team place in the latter stages of the Premiership season, making a total of nine league starts.
'A great asset'
Fulham's chief executive officer Bruce Langham told the club's website: "Ina has been a great asset to the squad this season and we are delighted that he has agreed to stay with us for a further year."
