Article body
Legia Warszawa's push for a place in next season’s UEFA Cup has been hampered by an injury to right midfield player Ajazdin Nuhi, who will miss the last five matches of the Polish season.
Serbian contingent
Nuhi, one of four Serbian players at the capital club in addition to coach Dragomir Okuka, joined Legia on loan from Belgrade club FK Partizan in February. He has established himself in the first team but will miss the run-in after damaging his right leg in the first half of last Sunday’s 1-0 victory against Wisla Plock.
UEFA Cup chase
Legia are fifth in the Ekstraklasa with five games remaining. They trail the leaders, Wisla Kraków, by seven points but are only a point behind second-placed GKS Katowice. The runners-up and team finishing third will qualify for next season’s UEFA Cup.
