Article body
Legia Warszawa left-winger Tomasz Kielbowicz has been suspended for two matches after a foul against Wisla Plock unnoticed by the referee.
TV replay decisive
Kielbowicz, 27, scored the only goal of last weekend's league match with Wisla Plock. However, later replays on television showed an incident where Kielbowicz aimed a kick at Plock's prostrate Nigerian midfield player Emmanuel Ekwueme.
'I am shocked'
A team-mate of Kielbowicz at 2000 championship-winning KP Polonia Warszawa, Ekwueme said: "I am shocked. He did it intentionally, but I do not know the reason. I am sorry to say this, but I lost a friend."
PZPN decision
The Polish FA (PZPN) Disciplinary Commission later ruled that Kielbowicz should be banned. "This foul deserved a red card and two-match suspension", PZPN spokesman, Michal Kocieba said.
Second blow
His ban represents a second blow for Legia after right-winger Ajazdin Nuhi was ruled out for the season with a right leg muscle injury. Legia are currently fifth in the Polish First Division, though level on points with third-placed KS Groclin Grodzisk Wielkopolski in the last UEFA Cup berth. Leaders Wisla Kraków are seven points further ahead with five games left.
