Unproductive spell
The 32-year-old playmaker failed to impress at the Franz-Horr stadium after moving to Vienna last summer, scoring only three times all season. Two of those goals were from the penalty spot and a new deal never looked like materialising.
Double chance
Austria have the chance to crown an already successful season by winning the Double when they face FC Kärnten in the Österreichischer Cup final on 1 June.
