Twente turn to Ten Rouwelaar

Members

PSV Eindhoven goalkeeper Jelle ten Rouwelaar is to join Eredivisie rivals FC Twente on loan for a season.

Loan ranger
PSV have agreed that the 22-year-old will spend the 2003/04 campaign at Twente, with the option of a second term with the Enschede club. Ten Rouwelaar is currently on loan with another top-flight club, FC Groningen, where has made five first-team appearances.

Transfer talk
The goalkeeper is expected to replace Sander Boschker as Twente's No1, with the latter player likely to leave the club on a free transfer in the summer. Boschker has been unable to agree new terms with Twente and AFC Ajax are said to be monitoring his situation.

Dream debut
Ten Rouwelaar joined PSV from second division BVO Emmen at the end of last season and made his debut in the UEFA Champions League draw against AJ Auxerre in September. He subsequently played two league games for Guus Hiddink's side before moving to Groningen.
