Summer leave
Wibrån has agreed an 18-month deal with Öster and will return home when his contract at German outfit FC Hansa Rostock expires in the summer.
Bench warmer
A popular figure at the club, he was an unused substitute in Hansa's final home game of the season against DSC Arminia Bielefeld on Saturday. "I know a lot of fans came to say goodbye, so it is disappointing they didn't really get the chance to do so. But I've enjoyed my time here," said Wibrån, who has been at Hansa for five years.
Experience needed
Meanwhile, Öster chairman Ola Rydén looked forward to the arrival of a player who will bring much-needed experience to the Värendsvallen side.
'Invaluable' signing
"We know what kind of player Peter is, and his attitude and know-how will be invaluable," he said. Wibrån, who will join Öster on 1 July, played 137 times for the Vaxjo-based club before leaving for Helsingborgs IF in 1995.
