Scoring success
Elber scored 21 league goals as Bayern claimed the title by a 16-point margin, and was also the Bundesliga's joint-top scorer with VfL Bochum 1848's Thomas Christiansen.
Double triumph
Elber crowned a magnificent domestic season on Saturday, as he was a key part of the Bayern side that defeated 1. FC Kaiserslautern 3-1 in the DFB-Pokal final to complete a league and cup double.
Overwhelming win
Some 23.8% of the vote went to the Brazilian forward, while his Bayern team-mate Michael Ballack came second with 12.9% and VfB Stuttgart’s Aleksandr Gleb third with 10.5%.
