Real Madrid CF coach Vicente Del Bosque has said that he does not believe he will be offered a new contract by the Spanish giants.
Del Bosque pessimistic
Del Bosque's present deal expires at the end of the current season, and in an interview with Spanish radio station Cadena Cope, the 52-year-old coach said that he does not expect to be in charge at the Santiago Bernabéu next season.
'It will be difficult to stay'
"We all have our feeling and my intuition is that I will not be staying on, that it will be difficult [to do so]," Del Bosque said. "I want to carry on at Real Madrid, but if at this stage no decision has been made you have to draw conclusions."
All to play for
With two matches of the Primera División season left, Del Bosque's side lie in second place in the table, a single point behind leaders Real Sociedad, and face city rivals Club Atlético de Madrid in a crucial game on Sunday before ending the league season with a home game against Athletic Club Bilbao. In addition, Madrid reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League before being eliminated by eventual runners-up Juventus FC 4-3 on aggregate.
