Garbarnia Szczakowianka Jaworzno and Zaglebie Lubin are behind in Poland's promotion/relegation play-offs.

Swit Nowy Dwor Mazowiecki and Gornik Leczna moved a step closer to a place in Poland's Ekstraklasa next season after victories over Garbarnia Szczakowianka Jaworzno and Zaglebie Lubin in promotion/relegation play-offs.

Key players missing
Garbarnia, who finished 13th in the first division table, were missing Maciej Bykowski, Ryszard Czerwiec and Marek Kubisz when they came up against a resilient Swit side. Despite having the best of the opening half-hour, the visitors failed to score as Boris Peskovic performed heroics in the Swit goal.

Przytula error
The only goal of the game came on 51 minutes when Maciej Lewna's teasing cross caused panic in the Garbrania area and  Krzysztof Przytula headed into his own net. Garbarnia pushed forward but Peskovic made a string of spectacular saves to keep his side ahead in the two-legged tie.

Bugala the hero
Zaglebie Lubin, who ended the campaign in 12th position, also found the going tough against second division opposition. Gornik Leczna dominated for much of the game only for Pawel Bugala to score the decisive goal five minutes before the interval.

Krupski lobbed
Zaglebie defender Bogdan Zajac gave the ball away twenty metres from his own goal allowing Bugala to lob goalkeeper Jaroslaw Krupski from the edge of the penalty area. Bugala, an impressive attacking midfield player, turned in a man-of-the-match display before being substituted late in the second half.

Second legs
The two ties will be decided next weekend when Zaglebie host Leczna on 21 June and Garbarbia take on Swit the following day.
