Bosco is Örgryte's odd man out

Members

Örgryte IS have decided against retaining the services of on-loan Brazilian midfield player Bosco.

Import quota
Bosco has featured in every game for the club so far this season but will now move back to Club Atlético Mineiro, Örgryte's sister club back in Brazil. Swedish sides can field only three non-European Union players and Örgryte had four in their squad.

Phiri factor
The form of Zambian defender Edwin Phiri was a key factor in the decision. With Afonso Alves Jr and Paulhinho Guará already on the club's books, Bosco was the odd man out.

Coach comments
Great things were expected of the 22-year old at the start of the season but coach Erik Hamrén said: "He's a good player but looking at the squad as a whole we've decided to opt for Edwin Phiri, who is our own player and who has taken huge steps forward."
