Article body
No advantage
AC Allianssi failed to take advantage of Haka's slip as they could only draw 2-2 at TPS Turku, where they needed a 93rd-minute equaliser from Janne Moilanen to salvage a point.
MyPa move second
Myllykosken Pallo-47 were the chief beneficiaries, their 1-0 win against bottom side KuPS Kuopio taking them into second place, above Allianssi on goal difference. The visitors forced MyPa to work hard for the victory, but Luiz Antonio's goal late in the first half proved enough for the home team.
Three for Kottila
Defending champions HJK Helsinki secured their best result of the new campaign, as last season's leading marksman Mika Kottila scored a hat-trick in a 5-0 home success against FC KooTeePee.
Inter lose again
Meanwhile, FC Inter Turku continue to struggle at the wrong end of the table. Their 1-0 defeat at FC Hämeenlinna left the visitors second bottom in the standings with just two points from eight games so far. Jani Sipilä's second-half header divided the sides, although Inter missed a great chance when Aristides Perlot's penalty was saved by Hämeenlinna keeper Istvan Tarlosi.
Sainio scores twice
Elsewhere, FF Jaro also missed a penalty and were forced to settle for a 1-1 home draw with FC Lahti, while Kari Sainio scored twice as hosts TPV Tampere defeated FC Jazz 2-0.
