Members

FK Ekranas took advantage of FBK Kaunas's inactivity to stretch their lead at the top to seven points.

Luksys opener
Second-half goals from Lithuanian Under-21 internationals Mantas Savenas and Aurimas Kucys clinched victory for Ekranas after Ricardas Beniusis had equalised Povilas Luksys' early strike for the home side. Atlantas finished the game with ten men after defender Edmundas Gaigalas was sent off.

Vetra up to third
Meanwhile, FK Vetra moved above Atlantas and into third place after beating FK Suduva 2-0. Sarunas Litvinas opened the scoring for the away team with his seventh goal of the season before Denis Vasilkov sealed the win seven minutes from time.

Sakalas crisis
Elsewhere, FK Sviesa were comfortable 3-0 winners at home against SFK Sakalas thanks to goals from Dalius Staleliunas, Saulius Mikoliunas and Nerijus Astrauskas. Sakalas are in deep financial trouble and their head coach Romas Lavrinavicius left the club ten days ago. There is now a one-month break in league action with the next fixtures scheduled for 25 July.
